1:55 pm: feeling tired, decide i want a soda from the bodega, jim insists i mix it with a five hour energy, challenge accepted.
2:00 pm: purchased one non-diet mountain dew, and a “lemon lime” 5 hour energy (1st non-diet soda in 2 months)
2:15 pm: well into the experience, 5 hour energy alters the already bombastic flavor of mountain dew, but not for the better.
2:22 pm: almost dropped bottle of soda, may be unrelated. jim insists i’m speaking faster. still feel fine.
2:32 pm: just finished the bottle. feeling pretty good, clear-minded, lucid. guess we’ll see how the next 5 hours go.
3:00 pm: feeling a little jittery, can’t “omni-focus” like i’m used to (listen to podcast and work at the same time) and find my focus shifting from one to the other.
3:02 pm: just took 5 or 6 clicks to hit a button in dreamweaver, making a lot of typing errors as I update this.
3:20 pm: feel like i’m leveling off a bit. although, my eyelids feel heavy, and my eyes won’t quite focus.
4:30 pm: find it easy to get caught up in work, really focused. my eyes are sore, i think i may be forgetting to blink.
5:30 pm: worked 1/2 hour past normal, didn’t even notice. Shoulder’s are extremely tight and sore.
6:00 pm: had to find something else to keep my attention after work was over, started designing a t-shirt for a contest.
7:00 pm: i guess my 5 hours of energy are up. dinner didn’t really interest me, no appetite per say.
10:00 pm: my shoulders are still really tight, but i feel perfectly normal again. no crash or anything. i’m surprised at how much i actually got done since 2pm.
here’s the t-shirt i designed:
